Interlude: Spring Flowers – 25 June 2023

Posted on June 26, 2023June 26, 2023 by Tamara Harpster

It has been a busy year with man changes and  transitions for myself. In between the busy time, I have taken walks and captured pictures of the spring colors and sights. Here is a selection of our spring foliage that I’ve appreciated during my breaks.

Ceanothus miniature lilacs in the spring

With the extra rain this year there was a variety of flowers and colors that are just starting to fade. There was also more wild life, so there are pictures of doves, a hummingbird and a road runner that hang out near the trail. Unfortunately the pictures don’t capture the smells of spring, such as the herbal smell from the wild sage and the sweet smelling flowers that bloom this time of year.

Hard to believe it is summer, the year has gone by so quickly. It is nice to get back and have a chance for some recreational writing.  Enjoy the pictures and the start of summer.
