September 9 - Beginnings

A chalk drawing of human bodies intertwined around each other on a metal plate

September is a time of transition, changing from summer to fall, hot weather to cooler. It is also a time of beginnings as school starts, and people reset after summer breaks. With the events of the last year, it is also a new time as we adjust to different ways of doing things. It is easy to focus on the negative changes, harder to look for changes as beginnings instead of endings.

Not everyone is ready for a start or restart, others are eager to begin again and experience a sense of newness. Not sure what the future will bring, in the meantime, we have opportunities to start or restart, if we choose to.
